Prof. dr. Cem Demirel
Prof. dr. Cem Demirel is a gynaecologist and IVF specialist with over 35 years of experience, practising at Acibadem Hospital in Atasehir, Istanbul. He studied medicine at the prestigious Hacettepe University (1996) and specialised in gynaecology and obstetrics at Ankara University, where he was appointed Associate Professor in 2002.
In 1998–1999 he conducted IVF research at the University of Lübeck in Germany. He served as medical director of the assisted reproduction training centre at Acibadem Kadıköy (2007–2010), headed the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine (2009–2010), and directed the IVF centre of Ataşehir Memorial Hospital from 2010 to 2022. His clinical focus: infertility, PCOS, severe endometriosis, non-obstructive azoospermia, blastocyst-stage transfer, PGT-M and surgical sperm retrieval (TESE).
